How much do you charge for postage?

Postage is charged at a flat rate of £5.45 per pudding for orders shipped to the UK mainland. Parcels are sent recorded delivery with Royal Mail.

 

When will the puddings be delivered by post?

All puddings will be dispatched from November onwards.  Should you require your pudding before please contact me.

 

What ingredients are in your Christmas pudding?

A full list of ingredients are given at each individual product listing. All allergens are written in bold.

Woodsend Christmas puddings are produced in a kitchen that handles allergens.

 

How Do I cook the Christmas pudding?

This pudding is fully cooked , therefore it only requires heating. To boil, remove ribbon, place bowl in a saucepan with enough water to come halfway up the bowl and simmer for at least 30 minutes for the small pudding, 40 minutes for the middle pudding and 1 hour for the large pudding. Do not allow water in the saucepan to boil dry.  These instructions are a guide only.  Please ensure your pudding is piping hot to enjoy it.

 

 Heating the old fashioned way is recommended to maximize the flavour. However, should you wish to use a microwave, remove ribbon, place bowl in microwave allowing 1 minute per 200g.

Can I reuse the bowl?

The bowl is a high quality British made bowl. It is suitable to be used in a dishwasher, freezer and microwave.  Do not boil dry and do not use in a conventional oven. Please do not throw away, it is an excellent reuseable kitchen bowl, or can be upcycled to create a plant pot.

 

Are the Christmas puddings suitable for vegetarians?

Yes they are.

 

Can I send the pudding as a gift?

Yes you can. You will be given the option during checkout to add a delivery address.
